Black-footed ferrets

Black-footed ferrets eat prairie dogs. Black-footed ferrets are endangered because prairie dogs are starting to die out and prairie dogs are the only thing that black-footed ferrets will eat.

Where to find prairie dogs

Prairie dogs are found in the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico. In the United States prairie dogs are usually found west of the Mississippi River, although they have also been introduced to a few Eastern areas.
